Who We Are
Micontrap is a Community Based Organization registered by the Kenya Government in 2006. Currently we are based in Migori town and operate in Migori and Narok counties. We seek to establish sustainable initiatives at grass root level in promoting services for Women Human Rights, Training and Capacity Building, HIV/AIDS Initiatives, OVC Care and Support. Environment, Water & Sanitation Management, and Peace Building and Conflict Mitigation projects
We target children, youths and adults especially whop are politically, socially and economically disadvantaged in society.
MICONTRAP assists and supports them through job placement and support, community development services, respite care, planned relieve for caregivers for children and youths who are marginalized, social activities and vocational training.
We also offer information and referral services to educate the community by improving public policy and setting the agenda of women advocacy to the public, decision makers, opinion shapers, volunteers and donors.

Our Mission
To be a role model girl child and women rights advocacy organization reaching to a wide and culturally diverse audience on reproductive health and harmful traditional practices, to develop and implement effective gender related policies and implement effective gender related polices that promote and protect gild child as well as women in society.
